Executive Chef Chris Mitchum, known to many as “Chef Mitch”, has over 40 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. His passion is to create food and wine experiences that make guests happy.  Mitch is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, and also holds a sommelier certificate from the Court of Sommeliers. With decades of experience in all areas of chef services and hospitality, Mitch has curated exceptional dining experiences for discerning clientele worldwide. 

A child of the 1980’s, Chef Mitch loves to ski as well as cook amazing food. The name of his company, Hot Dog Hospitality, was inspired by the classic freestyle ski movie “Hot Dog” which was filmed in Squaw Valley, CA.

In 2016, Chef Mitch was certified as a Level One Master Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers in Laguna Niguel. He is passionate and knowledgeable about wines from all over the world, and can host a wine tasting for your group, as well as select a case of wine sure to please you and your guests.

Mitch has lived and worked as a chef all over North America, including New York, Hawaii, California, Colorado, and Nashville. Mitch is a super friendly guy who loves to make people happy with food, wine, and laughter. We can’t wait to meet you and your friends and family.
